Sports Psychology Workshops
& Team Talks
Train the brain. Build confidence. Play like you mean it.
Athletes spend hours practicing their physical skills. But how much time do they spend practicing what to do when their brain gets in the way?
Like when one mistake turns into five. When nerves take over. When confidence disappears halfway through a game. Or when the car ride home becomes a detailed analysis of everything that went wrong.
The mental side of sports matters. And just like physical skills, mental skills can be taught, practiced, and strengthened.
At Murray Center for Behavioral Wellness, our sports psychology workshops bring the science of performance, emotion, motivation, and behavior into the real world of youth athletics.
Through humor, interactive activities, and research-informed strategies, we help athletes, coaches, and parents better understand how the brain responds to pressure, mistakes, expectations, and competition.
Because telling an athlete to "just be confident" isn't particularly helpful if nobody has taught them how.
