Jaylen Gavie, LLP
Jaylen is a Limited Licensed Psychologist in the state of Michigan who specializes in working with children and adolescents, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotional regulation challenges. She is passionate about helping children develop the emotional skills, confidence, and resilience they need to become happy, capable, and thriving individuals.
Jaylen earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University and completed her practicum at Children's DMC Hospital. She brings experience in child advocacy, autism support, and research focused on the development of emotional skills in young children. Her treatment approach is warm, engaging, and evidence-based, creating a safe environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves while learning practical strategies they can use every day.
One of Jaylen's greatest strengths is her ability to build genuine relationships with children and their families. Her warmth, patience, and authenticity help even hesitant children feel comfortable, while her approachable style gives parents confidence that they have a trusted partner in their child's care. She has a special passion for teaching emotional awareness, self-regulation, and healthy coping skills, believing that these abilities lay the foundation for lifelong mental wellness. Jaylen is beloved by both children and parents for making therapy feel encouraging, empowering, and even enjoyable.
