Dr. Ellstrom is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) who provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. She believes that the best treatment happens through partnership, taking the time to truly listen, understand each patient's concerns, and work together to develop a plan that feels both effective and comfortable.
Dr. Ellstrom earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Michigan State University with a concentration in psychiatric care. Throughout her training and career, she has provided psychiatric treatment in a variety of clinical settings across Metro Detroit, giving her experience caring for patients with a wide range of mental health concerns.
