Scroll Control

Because your kid’s thumbs are fast—their judgment just needs a tune-up.
(Endorsed by parents. Rolled eyes at first. Shockingly helpful in the end.)

Social media can be fun, creative, and a great way to connect—but it can also get messy fast. From oversharing to online drama to accidentally posting something you’ll regret in ten years, kids and teens need some guardrails.

Scroll Control is a one-time workshop designed to help ages 10–18 learn how to use social media smartly—without the lecture, the scare tactics, or the boredom. Think of it as digital street smarts: part reputation-protection, part kindness boot camp, and part “how not to let your phone eat your whole life.”

In this workshop, students will:

  • Learn what’s safe to share (and what should stay offline).

  • Build habits that protect their privacy and security.

  • Practice kindness online (because screenshots last forever).

  • Spot the difference between fun scrolling and doomscrolling.

  • Understand how to avoid digital drama before it explodes.

  • Learn smart ways to manage screen time so life stays balanced.

  • Build self-awareness so future-you won’t cringe at past-you’s posts.

Through real-life examples, interactive activities, and just enough humor to keep it teen-approved, kids will leave with practical tools they can actually use every day—both online and off.

Because being online feels good. And not regretting your posts feels even better.
