Get It Together!

Because your middle schooler’s brain is great—it just needs a better project manager.
(Endorsed by parents. Resisted at first. Shockingly helpful in the end.)

Middle school is when the wheels can start to wobble—homework gets harder, backpacks become black holes, and somehow no one remembers what the word “planner” means.

Get It Together! is a group designed to help middle schoolers level up their executive functioning skills without the eye-glazing boredom. Think of it as training for the brain: part productivity hack, part emotional ninja skills, and part “how to actually get your stuff done without losing your mind.”

In this group, students will:

  • Learn how to plan ahead instead of winging it (every time).

  • Get strategies to stay organized—even when their locker looks like a crime scene.

  • Practice time management skills so homework doesn’t start at 9:42 p.m.

  • Improve focus, task initiation, and follow-through (yes, even on boring stuff).

  • Build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and tools to deal with frustration without spiraling into “everything is the worst” mode.

Through hands-on activities, real-life examples, and just enough humor to keep it middle school–approved, kids will leave with practical tools they can actually use in their daily lives—both in and out of school.

Because independence feels good. And remembering your science folder feels even better.
