What to Expect:

 

Initial Session-

The first session is a comprehensive intake and

typically lasts 60 minutes. This includes a clinical interview with you and/or your child. This session is your time to ask any questions you may have about medication treatment and bring up any concerns you have. You are invited and encouraged to use this time as consultation with an expert. We want you to feel confident and comfortable in your choice to utilize medication treatment.

Follow-up sessions-

Follow-up sessions are 20-30 minutes long, depending on need and your provider. Follow-up sessions occur more frequently in the beginning of treatment. The frequency will decrease as you and your provider find the right medication for you.
